Our Durham - August
This month we are fortunate to have one of our members, Janie Givens. Janie has been a volunteer at the Toronto Zoo for six years. Janie has taken schools and interest groups on tours and into various animals' barns so they could chat with the keepers. (I see a possible field trip once COVID is gone!)
Since October 2020, Janie has been doing online Q & A talking about the animals, giraffes, gorillas and so on live on camera.
This might be something to watch with your grandchildren. Questions from the young ones can be priceless!
