Unfortunately, as we are all well aware, this year we are not having our usual Christmas Lunch together at Deer Creek, or anywhere else for that matter.
However, we still plan to celebrate the Christmas Season in another way. On Zoom!
To make it as festive an occasion as possible, we have decided that this monthly meeting will start at 4:00pm and not the usual 10:00am. This is in part to enable us to partake in a little cocktail, vino or non alcoholic beverage if so desired during this time.
We also think that you should prepare some appropriate snacks, cheese board or an interesting charcuterie board for your celebration. We might even send you some suggestions beforehand for these. Or of course you could enjoy some of "The Best Dark Fruit Cake You Ever Ate" that you made with Valerie on November 30 (assuming you'll still have any of it left by then).
We can all dress up and put on makeup, ladies remember doing that Ha! Ha!. Alternatively wear an ugly Christmas sweater or dollar store festive headband if this suits your mood, whatever turns you on to the Christmas spirit. Remember it is a party!
For the main part of the party, we have a wonderful local singer/performer called Deidrey Francois to entertain us. Here is a YouTube video of her performing. Make sure you have some space to move around to the great music that we will be hearing.
Last but not least, we will be having draws throughout the party for some lovely prizes. You will need to pre-register and be signed in when the draw is made to win one of these.
All in all we are looking forward to having a great time.

PS We are expecting a big turnout for this and Zoom space may be limited so please register early. In addition, for couples, just 1 person should register and any other persons in your household should be registered as guests (so they can also be included in the prize draws).
