The PROBUS Lakeside Walking group will meet Tuesday, June 15th at 10:30 am. The group (for the time being) will primarily be for walks.
Walks will be "weather" permitting and if necessary, you will be advised 24 hours in advance if we cancel the scheduled walk.
On Tuesday June 15th at 10:30 a.m. - please meet at the Ajax Carruthers Marsh Pavilion, 55 Ashbury Boulevard West, Ajax, L1Z 0E1.
** Note** The $20 fee for parking at Rotary Park is for weekends only. There will be no charge during the week.
Current COVID restrictions allow for 5 people to walk in a group. If necessary, we will disburse in groups of 5 at this location, keeping the appropriate distance apart. Walkers are encouraged to carry a facemask on each walk in case of falls and other occasional events that may occur requiring close contact with someone.
As we are now into the hotter summer months, for your own protection/safety, please wear sunscreen, a hat and bring a water bottle.
Eileen will be there from 10:15 to send out groups of five walkers at a time. The last walkers will be sent off at approximately 10:40 am depending on the numbers attending.
