Join us for another fascinating walking tour of Toronto with famed Toronto historian Bruce Bell. This time the focus will be on The Yorkville Area.
As Bruce describes it: "Once a village unto itself Yorkville is best known today as boutique central for its high priced shops and restaurants. In the 1960’s Yorkville was a haven for hippies turning this once peaceful residential neighbourhood into the headquarters for the counter- culture. Today after redevelopment Yorkville has become a high priced albeit glamorous section of the city."
This is the 1st of 2 tours that we have set-up. The other one is on May 23rd (same time and place). If you would prefer that date or this one is full then please click here. Alternatively you can visit the website or your phone app and search on that date.
The tour will begin at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) and end at Bloor and Yonge. Closer to the date we will suggest some transportation options and also make a group reservation for lunch at a local restaurant following the tour for those who might be interested.
The cost of the tour is $26 and registrants will be responsible for their own transportation costs and restaurant expenses. Attendance is limited to 20 people.
Given that space on these 2 tours is limited, no guests will be allowed at this time. There will be no cancellations/refunds unless there are people on the wait list willing to take your place.
